Terms

Last updated 1 September 2026. This page may be updated; it is not a substitute for legal advice.

These terms apply when you use https://lumiko-living.com or buy from Lumiko Living as a trade buyer (wholesale). Please read them before you apply or order.

This website does not sell retail to consumers. If we later sell to consumers, mandatory consumer rights will apply. We cannot exclude or limit those rights.

Who we are

We are Lumiko Living.

Using this site

You may browse collections for your own information and apply for wholesale. Do not misuse the site — for example by scraping it in a way that harms the service, attempting to break security, or using our content as if it were yours.

The site is hosted on Squarespace. Pages, collections, and stock can change without notice.

We do not guarantee that the site will always be available or free of errors.

Two ways of buying

This website does not sell retail to consumers. Visitors may browse collections. Consumer retail on this site is postponed. If we later sell to consumers, mandatory consumer rights — including, where they apply, a right to cancel a distance sale — will apply and cannot be taken away by these terms.

Wholesale (B2B). If you buy for a shop or other business, you are a trade buyer. Wholesale prices are not published on this site. To buy at trade terms you apply through our wholesale form or order through Faire. We may ask for business details before we accept a trade account. Trade terms (minimums, payment, lead times) are confirmed in the account, on Faire, or in a written quote — not by a public price list.

Prices and currency

Prices you see on the site are indicative retail figures in euro (EUR) and, where shown, US dollars (USD). They are a guide for shops. They are not a binding offer and they are not our wholesale prices.

The amount and currency that apply to a trade order are those shown when you confirm on Faire or in a written quote. Conversion rates, taxes, and duties may change the final total.

VAT, sales tax, duties, and shipping are [to be confirmed — quoted before a wholesale order is accepted]. We do not promise that an indicative range includes or excludes tax.

Orders

An order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we accept the order on Faire or in writing.

We may refuse or cancel an order if an item is out of stock, a price is obviously wrong, we cannot deliver to your address, or we reasonably suspect fraud. If we have already taken payment for a cancelled order, we will refund it.

We do not guarantee stock. “In stock”, lead times, and seasonal availability can change. Made-to-order or restock dates, when we give them, are estimates.

Wholesale. Opening minimums, sample rules, and payment (for example a deposit on a direct order, or Faire’s payment terms) are set out on the wholesale page or in the Faire listing as indicative until confirmed. A confirmed order or Faire checkout is what binds both sides.

Delivery

We intend to ship to trade buyers in the EU and the US. Exact shipping regions, carriers, and any places we cannot serve are [to be added — confirm country list].

Risk and title pass [to be confirmed with counsel — typically: for trade buyers, as stated on the invoice, quote, or Faire terms; if we later sell to consumers, in line with mandatory consumer law].

If a parcel is delayed, damaged, or missing, contact us at info@lumiko-living.com with your order number. Trade buyers should also follow any claim window in their account or Faire terms.

Customs, import VAT, and duties for a given destination are [to be confirmed]. We will say, before you are bound, whether a quote is delivered duty paid or whether you are the importer.

Returns and cancellations

This website does not take consumer retail orders, so there is no consumer store return policy on this site. If we later sell to consumers, mandatory consumer rights will apply and cannot be limited by these terms.

Trade buyers

Wholesale returns and quality claims follow the terms of your account, the quote, or Faire. Unless we agree otherwise in writing, trade sales are not sold on consumer cancellation terms. You must inspect goods on arrival and tell us about shortages or defects within 7 days of delivery.

Intellectual property

The Lumiko Living name, the look of this site, our photographs, and our product designs are ours (or used with permission). You may view them and share a page link. You may not copy our images, text, or designs to sell competing goods, or use our name in a way that suggests we endorse you, without our written permission.

Wholesale customers may use product images we supply for the purpose of selling authentic Lumiko Living goods. That permission ends if the account ends, and it does not include editing our brand marks in a misleading way.

Limitation of liability

We are responsible for our own negligence and for any duty we cannot legally limit.

Consumers. We do not limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that applicable consumer law says we cannot limit. Your statutory rights remain. If we later sell to consumers, those mandatory rights will apply.

Trade buyers. Subject to the same non-excludable liabilities (death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, and any other liability that cannot legally be limited), we are not liable for lost profit, lost sales, or other indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability for a trade order is limited to the amount you paid us for that order. [This cap is a draft commercial position — counsel must confirm it is enforceable in the chosen governing law.]

We are not liable for delays or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control (for example carrier disruption, factory interruption, or a change in export rules).

Governing law

[To be confirmed with counsel. Do not treat the next sentences as a chosen forum.]

We have not yet named a home jurisdiction or a court of exclusive venue. Until counsel confirms:

  • if you are a consumer in the EU, the UK, or another place with mandatory consumer conflict rules, you keep the protection of the law of your habitual residence, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of that place;

  • if you are a trade buyer, the law and courts that apply will be those stated on the confirmed order, quote, or Faire terms, or — if none are stated — [governing law and courts to be added; not specified in this draft].

We are not selecting Hong Kong law, or any other specific national law, in this page.

The old EU ODR platform was discontinued in 2025 (Regulation (EU) 2024/3228). We do not link to it. For a complaint, email info@lumiko-living.com. We are not signed up to a named alternative-dispute body unless the law requires it. [Named ADR scheme, if any — to be confirmed with counsel.]

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top will change. The version in force when you submit an application or we accept a trade order is the one that applies to that application or order, unless a change is required by law.
